Compare/PriceSway vs Priceva
Priceva is capable monitoring with formula-based repricing - and credit where due, it has a real free plan. The differences are in who does the competitor research, what product matching costs, and whether the tool tells you what a price move is worth before you make it.
Free for 3 competitors · no credit card
With Priceva you configure the competitor sites, and product matching is either manual or paid: auto-matching by product codes is an add-on from $25 per site, with assisted manual matching billed per match. The two hardest parts of monitoring - knowing who to watch and mapping their products to yours - stay partly on your plate or on your invoice.
PriceSway treats both as the product's job: your catalogue drives discovery (we search shopping results for each product in your price band and surface recurring merchants), and matches arrive with the suggestion, with the evidence shown. No per-site or per-match fees on any plan.
Priceva's repricing applies your custom formulas when competitors move - flexible, but the formula encodes a guess about how your customers behave.
PriceSway replaces the guess with measurement: demand elasticity estimated from your own sales history, a recommended price with the projected revenue impact and a confidence interval, and a 14-day before/after revenue comparison on every change you accept. When there isn't enough data to be confident, it says so instead of recommending.
If you already know exactly which sites to watch, need MAP monitoring, and want formula repricing across a broad site list, Priceva is a credible pick - especially at the free tier's 20-product scale.

Priceva monitors competitor sites you configure, with product matching partly manual or as a paid add-on, and reprices via your formulas. PriceSway discovers competitors automatically from your product catalogue with matching included, and instead of formulas gives elasticity-based price recommendations with projected impact - then measures the actual revenue result of every change for 14 days.
Honestly, both free tiers are useful. Priceva's free Starter covers up to 20 products and 20 sites with manual matching. PriceSway's free plan covers 25 SKUs and 3 competitors, but includes automatic discovery and matching - the part that's manual or paid elsewhere. If you already have your competitor list, Priceva's free tier is broader; if you don't, ours does the research for you.
MAP monitoring is the clearest case - PriceSway doesn't do MAP enforcement today. Priceva also fits if you want formula repricing across a long, known list of competitor sites with high check volumes.
Shopify is the smoothest path (one-click OAuth, automatic sync, optional price auto-push), but CSV import gets you the same discovery and monitoring for any store.
